LDH: September 18th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Friday, September 18th.
There have been 160,283 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 976 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 647 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 16 fewer reported hospitalizations since yesterday.
104 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 2 fewer patients on a ventilator than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,172. That is 29 more reported deaths since yesterday.
145,570 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 14th. That's 5,130 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,778 total cases, 122 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,868 total cases, 89 total deaths
(Up 18 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Martin Parish: 2,062 total cases, 60 total deaths
(Up 3 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Mary Parish: 1,865 total cases, 76 total deaths
(Up 4 reported cases since yesterday, Up 1 reported death since yesterday)
St. Landry Parish: 3,248 total cases, 124 total deaths
(Up 9 reported cases since yesterday, Up 4 reported deaths since yesterday)
Acadia Parish: 2,917 total cases, 96 total deaths

Evangeline Parish: 1,288 total cases, 31 total deaths

Vermilion Parish: 1,991 total cases, 57 total deaths
