LDH: September 1st Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Tuesday, September 1st.
There have been 148,882 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 667 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 910 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 29 fewer reported hospitalizations since yesterday.
128 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 4 fewer patients on ventilators than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,821. That is 34 more reported deaths since yesterday.
As of today, 127,918 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 24th. That's 9,798 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,275 total cases, 111 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,768 total cases, 70 total deaths

St. Landry Parish: 3,110 total cases, 115 total deaths

Acadia Parish: 2,817 total cases, 93 total deaths

Evangeline Parish: 1,118 total cases, 27 total deaths
