LDH: September 22nd Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Tuesday, September 22nd.
There have been 162,214 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 730 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 571 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 16 fewer hospitalizations than yesterday.
96 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 3 more reported patients on ventilators than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,218. That is 11 more reported deaths since yesterday.
145,570 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 14th. That's 5,130 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,870 total cases, 124 total deaths
(Up 48 reported cases since yesterday, Up 1 reported death since yesterday)
Iberia Parish: 2,896 total cases, 89 total deaths
(Up 16 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Martin Parish: 2,073 total cases, 61 total deaths
(Up 15 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Mary Parish: 1,900 total cases, 77 total deaths
(Up 9 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Landry Parish: 3,271 total cases, 124 total deaths
(Up 11 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Acadia Parish: 2,930 total cases, 96 total deaths
(Up 1 reported case since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Evangeline Parish: 1,303 total cases, 32 total deaths
(Up 6 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Vermilion Parish: 2,019 total cases, 59 total deaths
(Up 17 reported cases since yesterday, Up 1 reported death since yesterday)
The numbers are updated and released every day except Saturdays at noon.
