LDH: September 24th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Thursday, September 24th.
There have been 163,222 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 581 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 575 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 17 fewer hospitalizations than yesterday.
92 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 2 fewer reported patients on ventilators than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,241. That is 16 more reported deaths since yesterday.
149,640 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 14th. That's 4,070 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,895 total cases, 128 total deaths
