LDH: September 27th Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Sunday, September 27th.
There have been 164,851 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 920 more reported cases since Friday.
Numbers show that there are 557 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 13 fewer hospitalizations than Friday.
85 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 1 fewer reported patient on a ventilator than Friday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,283. That is 21 more reported deaths since Friday.
149,640 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 14th. That's 4,070 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,959 total cases, 132 total deaths
