The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Monday, September 28th.
There have been 165,091 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 236 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 563 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 6 more hospitalizations than yesterday.
83 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 2 fewer reported patients on a ventilator than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 5,298. That is 15 more reported deaths since yesterday.
149,640 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of September 21th. That's 4,070 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,969 total cases, 132 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,932 total cases, 89 total deaths
(Up 3 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Martin Parish: 2,095 total cases, 61 total deaths
(Up 1 reported case since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Mary Parish: 1,924 total cases, 77 total deaths
(Up 7 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
St. Landry Parish: 3,317 total cases, 124 total deaths
(Up 10 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Acadia Parish: 2,959 total cases, 97 total deaths
(Down 3 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Evangeline Parish: 1,327 total cases, 32 total deaths
(Up 0 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
Vermilion Parish: 2,039 total cases, 61 total deaths
(Up 2 reported cases since yesterday, Up 0 reported deaths since yesterday)
