LDH: September 2nd Louisiana COVID-19 UPDATE
The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Wednesday, September 2nd.
There have been 149,838 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. That's 972 more reported cases since yesterday.
Numbers show that there are 873 reported COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized. That is 37 fewer reported hospitalizations since yesterday.
132 patients are on ventilators across the state. That is 4 more patients on ventilators than yesterday.
LDH reports the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 is 4,841. That is 20 more reported deaths since yesterday.
134,432 COVID-19 patients are presumed to have recovered, as of August 31st. That's 6,514 more recovered cases than the week before.
Lafayette Parish: 8,339 total cases, 111 total deaths

Iberia Parish: 2,738 total cases, 87 total deaths

St. Mary Parish: 1,773 total cases, 70 total deaths
