March 25 Louisiana COVID-19 Update

The Louisiana Department of Health has issued its daily update for Monday, March 25th.

There are now 1,795 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Louisiana. 2,037 tests have been completed by state labs and 9,414 tests have been reported by commercial labs.

The total amount of coronavirus cases in Lafayette and surrounding parishes is 36.

Lafayette Parish: 20
St. Landry Parish: 4
St. Mary Parish: 5
Iberia Parish: 2
Evangeline Parish: 2
Acadia Parish: 2
St. Martin Parish: 1

There is more widespread representation throughout the state as 48 of the 64 parishes now have at least one confirmed case of COVID-19. The total number of deaths reported due to the coronavirus is now at 65. New Orleans continues to be the hardest-hit area of the state. The next update is due out tomorrow at noon.
