Upon arrival, police officers found a male victim who had been shot in his head and needed immediate medical attention. He was transported to a nearby hospital to treat the gunshot wound detectives determined was a result of an argument over a dice game.

The suspect confirmed to be responsible for firing the shot that wounded the victim is Montravious Leblanc, 26, as reported by News 15.

Leblanc turned himself in to authorities late Saturday and clarified what happened during the argument. Following his surrender, he was arrested and booked for multiple charges, including simple battery and attempted second-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, and obstruction of justice.

Authorities have not released further details on the victim’s condition at this time. The investigation remains ongoing as police work to gather additional evidence and witness statements.
