Louisiana Professor Arrested, Accused of Inappropriate Relationship With Student

A professor at Grambling University has been arrested and charged with Malfeasance and Stalking.

KTVE reports that Osman Yussuf, a professor at Grambling State University, was arrested by campus police and placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.

Yussuf is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student, which violates university policies and professional conduct expectations.

In the statement shared on the television's website, Grambling University had this to say about this case:

"Grambling State University is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all students, faculty, and staff. We take all reports of misconduct seriously and hold our employees to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity."
