Once again this year, the Louisiana Sheriffs' Scholarship Program will be awarding scholarships to St. Martin Parish students for their education.

One $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior from St. Martin Parish.

There are no restrictions on the purpose for which the scholarship is spent.

The requirements for applicants include:

  • Applicants must be permanent residents of Louisiana
  • Scholarships must be utilized for higher education in Louisiana
  • Student must ben enrolled full time, undergraduate students
  • Applicants must be eligible for admission to the school they plan to apply to

The winner of the scholarship will be announced May 1st.
