LUS Fiber's mission to expand services to every city within Lafayette Parish just became closer to reality as Carencro is the latest city in the Parish to join the network.

Today's announcement comes less than a year after LUS Fiber announced expansion into Youngsville and Broussard.

“The residents of Carencro have expressed their interest in LUS Fiber for many years. We are extremely honored that so many residents throughout Lafayette Parish appreciate the value that LUS Fiber can bring to their communities,” stated Teles Fremin, Interim Director of LUS Fiber.

This expansion includes LUS Fiber's internet, television, and phone services into the city of Carencro. Mayor Glenn Brasseaux is very pleased:

“The tremendous growth in residential and commercial development in Carencro makes this a great time for LUS Fiber to offer services here. We welcome LUS Fiber and are pleased that our citizens and businesses will have a range of advanced options to choose from for their telecommunications needs.”

Councilman Jay Castille adds:

“LUS Fiber will be a great addition for the city residents and businesses. It will help Carencro continue to grow and prosper.”

The expansion of services will begin in the neighborhood of Oak Cove and areas in Downtown Carencro, with additional locations to be added before summer.
