A Pregnancy Center and Clinic is teaming up once again this year with the Lafayette Fire Department and the Abbeville Fire Department to gather supplies for babies throughout our community.

Many women wonder how they will be able to avoid the many things that come along with having a baby, and many are already struggling according to Patrice Lewis with the clinic.

She says often a woman may be left alone to handle the responsiblities that come along with having a baby, and those responsibilites can be coslty.

Lafayette Fire Department Spokesman Alton Trahan says all of the fire stations in Lafayette and Abbeville are accepting donations for the month long baby shower.

Here is a list of some of the new items that are being collected at fire stations through the month of April:

  • Baby lotion
  • Baby powder
  • Diapers
  • Diaper Bags
  • Car seats
  • Bottles

New items only are being accepted during this donation campaign.
