Morse Man Charged With Revenge Porn

Relationships change over time. Sometimes they change for the better and sometimes things don't quite workout. We are going out on a limb in suggesting that Eddie Laughlin of Morse relationship with a former girlfriend would be one of those that didn't end with 'til death do us part.

Laughlin has been charged under Louisiana's revenge porn laws. Those laws specifically address the sharing of nude or partially nude cellphone photos or videos without permission online. Violation of these statutes is punishable by up to two years in prison and fines of up to $10,000.

It is alleged that Laughlin published intimate photos of a former girlfriend on social media sites. It is also alleged that Laughlin posted lewd comments about those photos. this was all done without the former girlfriend's permission. That is why Mr. Laughlin is facing charges in Acadia Parish relating to revenge porn and defamation by malicious publication.

Laughlin's bond has been set at $26,500.
