A 20-year-old student is under arrest after admitting he wrote a hit list discovered Tuesday at Port Barre High School.

"I am Q. And I have a list of people that will die today," read the note, according to a report from KLFY.

KATC reports an anonymous tip led police to Tevin Thibodeaux, a senior at the high school, who said he meant no harm in writing the note. It included the names of several students, including a nephew of Port Barre Police Chief Deon Boudreaux.

Teachers at the high school were given copies of the handwritten note with instruction to compare it to their students' writings. The tip narrowed the search to comparing the note to other documents in Thibodeaux's name, which then led to his arrest.

Thibodeaux was booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail on a terrorism charge.
