Proposed Alabama Bill Would Require Men to Get Vasectomy

There is a proposed bill in the Alabama Legislature that would require all men in the state to get a vasectomy within one month of their 50th birthday or the birth of their third biological child, whichever comes first.

What in the Sam Hell is going on in Alabama that this needs to be a thing?

House Bill 238 was proposed by Rep. Rolanda Hollis and her bill also states that the procedure will be done at the man's own expense.

Who did her wrong?

The bill states that "under existing law, there are no restrictions on the reproductive rights of men."

Alrighty then. That sure makes all the sense in the world.

The bill is currently in committee, and if passed, it would go into effect the third month after its approval.

It appears that every problem has been fixed in the great state of 'Bama if they're down to this final first world problem.
