SHINGLE SPRINGS, Calif. (AP) — Most residents forced to flee a wildfire in Northern California's Sierra Nevada foothills are being allowed to return home.

Firefighters have been able to keep the blaze at 6 square miles and it's now 75 percent contained.

The fire has destroyed 13 homes and 38 other structures.
