In the crazy year that is 2020, many events have obviously been canceled, postponed, or altered drastically. Many communities are still trying to hold some sort of Halloween for our children and the City of Scott is no exception.

This Saturday, October 31st, the Scott Business Association, Scott Police Department, and Scott Area Team Sports (SATS) have teamed up to hold "Scary Street in Scott."

The event runs from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will be held on Lions Club Rd. It's basically drive-thru trick-or-treating.

The road will be shut down and local businesses and organizations will line the left side of the road with their tables, booths, hay bales, etc.

Families then just drive through and each stop will fill their bag with goodies. Masked business members and organization volunteers will hand the candy to the kids in the vehicles. Vehicles will then exit on the side streets.

If children still want to go trick-or-treating in Scott, that is still going on in the town from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
