Shooting Saturday Morning In Lafayette Leaves One Hospitalized
Lafayette Police arrested a Lafayette man after a shooting at 11 o’clock Saturday morning.
Lafayette Police Department Spokesman Paul Mouton says, via press release, that there was some kind of fight between two men at a home in the 900 block of East Vermilion Street that ended up with one man being shot.
Officers arrested 55-year-old Bradley Marshall of Lafayette, and the man has been charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder.
The two were apparently fighting when the suspect, Marshall, fell outside of the doorway of the home, and the gun fired.
The victim ended up being shot in the middle of his body. He is said to be in stable condition at a local hospital.
Mouton has not said what started the argument, but they are continuing to investigate this shooting case.
