Shreveport Man Gets More Than 8 Years In Prison For Firearms Violations

Today (Tuesday) 36 year old Donzell Joseph Samuels Jr. of Shreveport was sentenced to 105 months in prison after being found to be in possession of firearms and ammunition after being convicted of multiple felonies. At Samuels' guilty plea evidence was presented that he was on probation for another crime when a search of his home uncovered four pistols and a sixteen gauge shotgun along with a large quantity of ammunition. Samuels has three prior felony convictions.
