St. Landry Deputies Make Major Drug Bust
While an official cost has not been finalized yet, St. Landry Parish Sherffi's Office Spokesman Eddie Thibodeaux says that officers have made a major drug bust and recovered guns.
Thibodeaux says that they confiscated 11 weapons in their raid, and two of those weapons had been stolen.
He says that they found several assault rifles with a bunch of 30 plus magazines of ammunition.
They were also able to recover some pistols.
The following is a list of the drugs that they confiscated in their raid:
- Crack
- Powder cocaine
- Methamphetamine
- X pills
- Marijuana
Thibodeaux estimated that the net worth of these drugs on the streets is in the hundreds of thousands.
