St. Martin Narcotics Agents Confiscate Huge Drug Stash
St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Narcotics agents confiscated nearly $50,000 worth of illegal drugs and $10,000 cash from an Arnaudville man's residence Friday afternoon.
Sheriff's spokesperson Ginny Higgins reported 27-year-old Cody Lormand was arrested after deputies recovered large amounts of illegal drugs at Lormand's home on Arnaud Road.
Lormand was booked into the St. Martin Parish correctional Center on the following charges;
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Marijuana over 400 grams)
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (Synthetic Cannabinoids over 400 grams)
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule III CDS (Suboxone)
- Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule IV CDS (Aprazolam)
- Possession of a Firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies
- Illegal carrying of weapon in the presence of a CDS
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
