The following people were arrested by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office:

Christopher James Howard, 33, 1016 Cypremort Rd, Jeanerette LA, was arrested on November 25 at 12:42pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy assigned to patrol the Jeanerette area located Howard at a business and learned of his warrant. Howard was transported for booking. He was later released on an $899 bond.

Brandy Armond, 36, 413 Tournament Blvd, Berwick LA, was arrested on November 25, 2015 at 5:10pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Armond turned herself in to the St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville after learning of the arrest warrant. No bail is set.

Derrick Leman White, 35, 156 Rogers Lane, Charenton LA, was arrested on November 25, 2015 at 7:11pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple obstruction of a highway, and, for a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. A deputy patrolling the Charenton area located White on Martin Luther King Rd and learned of his warrant. White was transported to the Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set. 

Kevin Thomas Fromenthal, 43, 801 Main St, Patterson LA, was arrested on November 26, 2015 at 12:22am on the charge of driving while intoxicated. Deputies responded to a call regarding a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 90 near the Baldwin area. Deputies later made contact with the driver, Kevin Fromenthal, as he had run his vehicle off the road, into a ditch. Deputies determined Fromenthal to be impaired. Fromenthal was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $10,000 bond.

George Jones Jr, 47, 314 9th St, Franklin LA, was arrested on November 26, 2015 at 4:46pm for disturbing the peace by appearing in an intoxicated state. Deputies responded to a disturbance in the area of Charenton Rd in Baldwin and made contact with Jones. Deputies learned that Jones was involved in a disturbance and found him to be in an intoxicated condition. Jones was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a $500 bond.

Robert Lee Ocon, 49, 817 Waterworks Rd, Amelia LA, was arrested on November 26, 2015 at 5:15pm for a warrant on the charge of misdemeanor theft. Ocon flagged down a deputy assigned to patrol the Amelia area.  He requested a check be done to see if he had any outstanding warrants for his arrest. The deputy learned that Ocon did indeed have a warrant for his arrest for the charge of theft. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted on November 23, 2015. Investigators learned that Ocon stole a $20 DVD player. Ocon was transported to the St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. He was later released on a summons and given a court date of February 11, 2016.

Juvenile male, 16, Jeanerette LA, was arrested on November 26, 2015 at 9:59pm on charges of aggravated assault and resisting an officer. A deputy patrolling the Jeanerette area responded to a disturbance on Big Four Corners Rd. The deputy learned that the 16-year-old juvenile grabbed a knife and pointed it at another individual. During his arrest, the juvenile ran from officers and attempted to hide in a bathroom. The juvenile was released to a family member pending juvenile court proceedings.

Avery Hines, 28, 1605 Jordan St, New Iberia LA, was arrested on November 26, 2015 at 10:17pm on a warrant for failure to appear to court on the charge of speeding. A deputy assigned to the Jeanerette area located Hines at a residence on Big Four Corners Rd and learned of his warrant. Hines was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was released on a $365 bond.

William Harness, 47, 1405 James St, Siracusaville LA, was arrested on November 26, 2015 at 10:55pm for disturbing the peace and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. A deputy assigned to patrol the Siracusaville area responded to a call that included details that a male had gained entry into a home on James St via a window. The deputy made contact with the male in question, Harness, and found him to be intoxicated. The deputy learned that Harness made entry into the home by way of a window. Harness was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Juvenile female, 14, Amelia LA, was arrested on November 27, 2015 at 7:03pm for disturbing the peace and criminal damage to property. A deputy responded to a call of a disturbance on Chirpy’s Ln in Amelia. During the investigation, the deputy learned that the juvenile was arguing with a family member and then punched a window out of her bedroom. The juvenile was released back to family members pending juvenile court proceedings.

Nathan Leif, 35, 1168 Delmar Rd, Bayou Vista LA, was arrested on November 27, 2015 at 8:33pm for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, reckless operation of a vehicle and off road vehicle on a public roadway. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area observed an ATV being driven on Southeast Blvd. The ATV was traveling northbound in a southbound lane. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, Leif. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Leif was impaired. Leif was transported to the St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville for booking. He was later released on a $7,500 bond.

Jeffery Roman, 53, 201 Gum Point Ln, Franklin LA, was arrested on November 27, 2015 at 10:34pm for a warrant for failure to appear to court on the charge of speeding. A deputy assigned to patrol the Franklin area located Roman at his residence and learned of his warrant. Roman was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

Domonic Robinson, 28, 330 American Blvd, Houma LA, was arrested on November 28, 2015 at 8:33pm for simple battery. Deputies responded to a call of a disturbance at a residence on Southeast Blvd in Bayou Vista. During the investigation, deputies learned that Robinson struck another female in the head after a verbal altercation. Robinson was transported to the parish jail for booking. Bail is set at $500.

Juvenile female, 14, Baldwin LA, was arrested on November 29, 2015 at 12:27am for resisting an officer and battery of an officer. Deputies assisted Baldwin Police Department with an arrest following a large disturbance. It was during the arrest, that the juvenile female began to yell at deputies and the arresting officer. The juvenile then clung on to the one being arrested and then resorted to striking a deputy in the face. The juvenile was released to a family member pending juvenile court proceedings.

 Brandon Leblanc, 23, 908 Alpha St, Franklin LA, was arrested on November 29, 2015 at 10:01am for simple assault and telephone harassment. Deputies investigated a complaint of harassment, and learned that Leblanc sent threatening messages through a social media application directed towards a female victim. Leblanc was transported to the parish jail and released on a $750 bond.

Desmon Cousin, 39, 777 Oregon St, Berwick LA, was arrested on November 29, 2015 at 12:27pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft.  Cousin was transported from another jurisdiction and brought to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
