State Representatives To Talk About The Legislature

Two of Acadiana's State House Representative, Julie Emerson and Blake Miguez, will be joining the member of Acadiana Patriots at their meeting this Thursday, January 9, 2020.

State Representative Blake Miguez was recently elected as the head of the Republican Caucus.

In addition to the discussion about possible legislative issues, Jim Crumling with Acadiana Patriots, says they are hoping they will also get a visit from two representatives from the veterans home in Jennings, to discuss issues.

If you are interested in finding out about what the group is all about, you can attend a meeting.

The meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the Southside Regional Library.

The South Regional Library is located at 6101 Johnston Street in Lafayette.

As part of this week's meeting, members plan to discuss their plan for this year.
