Students Arrested For Cyber Bullying

Two students at Comeaux High are accused of cyberstalking another female student. On January 18, 2011, at approximately 9:30 am, a Lafayette Police Department School Resource Officer was notified by the administration of Comeaux High School of an alleged cyber stalking incident.  The female juvenile victim alleged that two students were using harassing and threatening language on Facebook towards her.  As a result of the investigation, a 15-year-old female juvenile and Christopher Gordon (17), both students, were arrested and charged for Cyberstalking.  The incident on Facebook occurred on January 13, 2011.  Gordon was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and the Juvenile was released to her parents.  The case remains under investigation.
