Suspect Arrested In Baton Rouge Shooting
BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Baton Rouge police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a 21-year-old man.
Cpl. L'Jean McKneely tells The Advocate (http://bit.ly/MbVSZn) that 21-year-old Jonathan West is accused of fatally shooting Telly Heard after the two had an argument on June 5 under Interstate 10 on South 10th Street.
McKneely says West faces a charge of second-degree murder.
It could not be determined whether West had an attorney.
