21-year-old Willis Anderson has turned himself in to detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office following a shooting on the night of Saturday, December 21 that took the life of 26-year-old Brandon Malveaux.

Detectives say the incident happened in the 100 block of Cotton Street. Malveaux died after being shot multiple times.

Willis Anderson was booked into the Iberia Parish Jail, charged with one count of First Degree Murder and Attempted Armed Robbery. No bond has been set at this time.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office at 369-3711 or Iberia Crime Stoppers at 364-TIPS.
