Teen Facing Charges After Brass Knuckle Attack
NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) — Police say a 17-year-old Natchitoches girl is facing charges for allegedly beating a 16-year-old with brass knuckles while visiting friends.
The Town Talk reports Natchitoches Parish Sheriff's deputies were called to a hospital early Thursday morning after the 16-year-old's mother reported that her daughter had been beaten while visiting friends at a home near Robeline.
Deputies say the victim was treated for head, facial and neck injuries.
The 17-year-old was arrested a few hours later at a home in Natchitoches and the brass knuckles were recovered.
The teen was booked with aggravated second-degree battery. She was released on a $10,000 bond.
