Texas Man Arrested after Allegations He Put a Hidden Camera in a Bathroom

A Texas man is in trouble with the law after allegations surfaced that he had placed a camera in the bathroom at his place of business, which was then discovered.

According to KWTX, a female worker noticed that something was just not right with one of the ceiling tiles in a restroom. This is a restroom that is not frequented by the man who police accused of setting up this camera.

Officials say the woman went into the bathroom to use the facilities when she noticed something that didn't look like it should be under the ceiling tile. The woman decided she was going to take a closer look at what was up there, and that's when, she told police, she spotted the camera. She says the camera was pointed exactly at the same spot where the toilet was positioned.

As she was being interviewed by officers, she explained to them that a coworker named Cody Lee Terell had used the bathroom earlier in the day. She also told officers that Terell appeared to her to be nervous. She added that this bathroom is not the one that Terell usually uses.

Officers had contact with Terell and began to ask him questions about the allegations. He denied knowing anything about a camera in the ceiling, and he denied he had placed anything there.

Investigators reviewed the memory device from the camera, and police say there was footage of the woman who had complained using the facilities.

As investigators continued to question Terell, he admitted he had placed the camera in the ceiling but with the intention of recording another employee who worked there. When they asked him whether or not they could search his purchase history on his Amazon account, he allowed them to do so. According to the report, the man had made several purchases of hidden cameras.
