A homeowner in Texas noticed movement in their backyard so they went to the cameras and what they saw was shocking.

When you get an alert on your phone that there has been movement in your yard you don't know what to expect, but you often hope that it's just something being swept in by the wind or a kid walking by.

Well, the homeowner in North Texas who went to his cameras after receiving an alert on his phone was shocked to see what had entered his yard at night.

After reviewing the movement from their security cameras, they saw a mountain lion walking across their yard, which appeared to be fenced in. Luckily the wild animal approached the house when no one was outside.

This video should be a reminder to all of us that wild animals are on the move and they are showing up in places that are occupied by people and where neighborhoods are built. And yes, wild animals are likely showing up in areas where we least expect to see them because they are being forced to relocate due to development. C

Check out this huge cat in someone's backyard, and always be aware of your surroundings when out in the yard.
