The Amazing Race of Acadiana is coming September 21, 2019!

Modeled after the hit television show "The Amazing Race", the Acadiana version will begin and end at Vermilionville on Surrey Street.

Contestants will have to complete mental and physical challenges which may include kayaking, rock climbing, trivia, puzzles, dance competitions, and eating contests. The two-person teams will be fanning out across Acadiana once crossing the start line to follow clues that will bring them to their next challenge. There is a pot of gold at the finish line which contains $6,000 in prize money!

To qualify for the race, participants/teams must raise funds for The Refinery Mission.

We believe that the power of the Gospel can transform broken men and restore them for their good and His glory. Our program includes emergency housing, transitional housing, work readiness, spiritual growth, prison reentry, and wellness. - Refinery Mission
