Uncle Bob’s Round Up Grand Opening – Lafayette

• 144 E. Cypress St., Downtown Lafayette
• Saturday, April 5 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Lafayette’s new food truck park is celebrating its grand opening with live music from Nouveau String Band, face painting for the kids, and plenty of local food trucks. Don’t miss a guest appearance from “Uncle Bob” himself—and his goats. Expect family-friendly fun and shaded seating for 100+.

Evangeline Downs Thoroughbred Racing Season Opener – Opelousas

Evangeline Downs kicks off its 2025 thoroughbred racing season Friday evening. Bring the family, grab a bite from the concession stands, and enjoy the thrill of live racing right in Opelousas. Racing will continue every Friday and Saturday night through the season.

Rhythms on the River – River Ranch (Lafayette)

It’s back! Rhythms on the River continues this Thursday evening with free live music, local vendors, and family-friendly vibes in the heart of River Ranch. Bring your lawn chairs and dancing shoes!

Delcambre Seafood and Farmers Market – Delcambre

• Delcambre Shrimp Festival Grounds
• Saturday, April 5 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

If you want seafood that was swimming just minutes prior, you'll want to check out the Delcambre Seafood and Farmers Market. More than 60 vendors will be on hand, selling food, crafts, gifts, plus there will be live music.

"Cabaret" – Iberia Performing Arts League

• IPAL Theater, New Iberia
• Shows Friday & Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m.
