Two Breaux Bridge Residents Arrested in Drug Bust
32-year-old Crystal Brown and 27-year-old Jokoda Henry - both of Breaux Bridge - were arrested on Friday following a drug bust at a residence in the 1000 block of Roy J. Melancon Road in Breaux Bridge.
According to a press release, St. Martin Parish Sheriff Beckett Breaux says deputies found four firearms, suspected Alprazolam tablets, suspected cocaine, several Suboxone sublingual strips, drug paraphernalia, U.S. Currency, a digital scale, brass knuckles, and materials indicative of the manufacturing of crack cocaine.
Deputies also say that one of the firearms was stolen.
Brown faces the following charges:

- LA. R.S 14:26 – Criminal Conspiracy-4 Counts
- LA. R.S 14:95E – Possession Firearm Committing/Attempt Crime-5 Counts
- LA. R.S 14:93A(2) - Cruelty to Juveniles (Clandestine Lab)-5 Counts
- LA. R.S 14:69.1 – Illegal Possession of Stolen Firearms
- LA. R.S 40:1041 – Transactions Involving Proceeds From Drug Offenses
- LA. R.S 40:983 – Clandestine Lab
- LA. R.S 40:967A – Manufacture; Distribution; PWITD-Schedule II Narcotics
- LA. R.S 40:968A – Manufacture; Distribution-Schedule III Narcotics
- LA. R.S. 40:969A – Manufacture; Distribution-Schedule IV
Henry faces the following charges:

Both people sit in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center with bonds each set at $75,000.00.
