Out of concern for the recent coronavirus outbreak, UL has released a statement on remote classes.

According to a blog post from UL President Joseph Savoie to students, faculty and staff members, UL hasn't implemented remote classes just yet but it is "among several scenarios" that the University is discussing.

UL is working closely with the Lousiana Office of Public Health and as of now there are no known cases of COVID-19 in Lafayette but they are using the opportunity to have a plan in place that will minimize disruption.
