16-Year-Old Shot To Death In New Iberia

New Iberia Police Captain John Babin says that officers were called out to a shooting on St. Jude Street early this morning.

A 16-year-old male was shot, and while the man was taken to a hospital, he later died from his injuries.

Police are asking anyone who might know anything about this young man's death to call their office at 337-369-2306.

The shooting happened at 1409 St. Jude Street in New Iberia.

Detectives are working to find out more information about the case.
