2 Arrested In Rash Of Burglaries In Acadia Parish

18-year-old Dillon Vullo of Denham Springs and Cathryn Dupont of Egan have been arrested after 10 residential burglaries happened last week from the Egan community to the north of the Crowley area.

The pair are accused of stealing items such as electronics, power tools and guns were stolen from these homes between October 20 and October 26th. Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson says a majority of the homes were broken into by window.

Turns out Vullo and Dupont were identified as being wanted from the Baton Rouge area for other burglaries. Both have been charged with 9 counts of Burglary and one count of Aggravated Burglary. Vullo has also been charged with Illegal Use of a Weapon, Attempted Simple Escape and Simple Criminal Damage to Property.
