2 Men Charged In 2010 Murder

Two men have been arrested and charged with 1st degree murder. 

Lafayette Police have booked 29-year-old Wesley James Monroe, Jr. and 18-year-old Jermain Ason in connection with the death of Thomas Jolivette in November of last year.  Monroe has also been charged with aggravated kidnapping and armed robbery charges from an October incident.   A policeman on patrol found Jolivette's body in the alley near several businesses in the 2000 block of W. University Ave. More arrests could be made.
