2nd Annual Hog Tournament To Benefit Veterans

Like hunting and appreciate veterans? Well, the 2nd annual Troops & Tusks Hog Tournament is for you.  Hunting will start at 12:01 AM Friday, March 6 and end at 11:59 PM Saturday, March 7. Sunday, March 8 will be festivities and award ceremonies.

Troops & Tusks is the perfect hunting event for Louisiana sportsmen and the perfect way to help veterans right here in Acadiana.

There will be Dog Teams and Still Teams. The grand champion is the team with the biggest boar overall with an award of custom belt buckles for the team. Each team will be assigned at least one veteran from either VFW Post 4158 or Hero Hunts.

All hog meat will be donated to veterans, food shelters and families in need. Profits from the tournament will assist the local VFW and Hero Hunts.
