A recent police investigation has led to the arrest of five women allegedly involved in a network of drug sales and prostitution operating out of local hotels in the Baton Rouge area.

According to WBRZ, authorities apprehended the women following an investigation into illicit activities at multiple hotels, where the suspects reportedly used the rooms as meet-up spots for drug transactions and sex work.

The arrested individuals face a range of charges, including narcotics and firearm offenses, as well as charges related to prostitution.

The women, identified as Ashley Lebert, 23; Kaylie O'Bryant, 34; Princess Jones, 39; Michelle Dicola, 40; and Tammi Guerin, 50, were taken into custody after police uncovered evidence of their alleged involvement in the illegal operation.

The investigation into these activities is still active, and police have not ruled out further arrests. Authorities are urging anyone with additional information to come forward as they continue efforts to dismantle similar operations.
