A Teenager Dead After Shooting In Port Barre

Police in Port Barre has told our news partners at KATC that one teen is dead after a shooting, and another was injured.

There are very few details at this time, but police report that the shooting happened in the 200 block of Bayou Drive at around midnight.

The boy who died was 16-years-old and the one that was wounded is 17 years-old.

The investigation is ongoing at this time.
