Alcohol Venue At Tiger Stadium Will Open September 8th
Booze at a college football game in Louisiana?!? That will never happen said no one ever. The fact is alcohol consumption outside of college football stadiums is now a part of the American fabric. Moving the drinking into college football stadiums, well that's a new concept but a concept that will be explored at LSU's Tiger Stadium beginning with the home opener against Southeastern Louisiana.
Fans who are over 21 years of age and desire to have an alcoholic beverage may now visit The Chute. The Chute will be located on the ground level, between Gates 23 and 28, on the south side of the Stadium.
The Chute will offer two drinks for $20 per person or additional drinks may be purchased for another $6 each. The facility will be open two and a half hours before kickoff. In addition to beverages, a food truck selling burgers and other items will be onsite as well.
Just to be clear, you'll have to finish your beverages before your return to your seat. No alcohol may be consumed outside of The Chute. The facility will close at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
