Baton Rouge Police Investigate Stabbing Death

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Baton Rouge police are investigating the stabbing death of a 42-year-old man whose body was found in his backyard.

Cpl. Don Coppola tells The Advocate (http://bit.ly/15nE0F0 ) Gary Terell Murphy was found by his roommate at about 5:50 a.m. Monday.

Coppola said Murphy had multiple stab wounds and his death is considered a homicide.
