Broussard Christmas Decorating Contest is Tonight

Everyone in Acadiana has gone all out with their Christmas decorations this year to add extra holiday cheer. If you live in Broussard and you’re competitive, here is your chance to get in on some fun. According to KATC, the City of Broussard is hosting it’s inaugural city-wide Christmas lights decorating contest today.

This gives the residents and businesses the opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and hopefully win a prize.

The deadline to register to participate was December 11th. All of those who are participating will be asked to put their lights on between 5:15 and 5:30 pm this evening for all the judges to see. Prizes will be awarded for the best business and best residential displays.

You may see the judges on a trolley making their rounds. Imagine how beautiful  Broussard will look tonight.
