Carencro Suspect Arrested In St. Landry Case
St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Captain Megan Vizena says their office is investigating a reported home invasion and kidnapping that happened early Sunday morning, September 7, near Sunset.
Vizena says 25-year-old Troydell J. Simmons of 107 Raceway Street in Carencro has been arrested in connection with the case.
Captain Vizena says,
“The victim told deputies that she was awakened by the suspect knocking on her door. The suspect forced his way into her home, forcing her to drive him to another location. Fearing for her safety, she complied.”
