Drug, Prostitution Ring Busted In St. Martinville

An undercover investigation led to the arrests of four people in St. Martinville on drug and prostitution charges.

A St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office spokesperson reported yesterday deputies recovered $2,000 worth of crack cocaine along with cash and drug paraphernalia from a home on Elliot Loop in St. Martinville.

The following individuals were arrested and charged as follows:

• Larson Anthony, 46, of New Iberia: Possession of Schedule II CDS (Crack Cocaine), Transactions involving proceeds from Drug Transactions, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstruction of Justice, Resisting An Officer By Flight
• Monique Dugas, 32, of St. Martinville: Prostitution
• Johnny Durand, 67, of St. Martinville: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Lionel Solomon, 53, of St. Martinville:Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
