Free Native American Culture Day At Vermilionville
Tomorrow a free Native American Culture Day will be held at Vermilionville.
The event will start at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, and it will run until 4 p.m.
A variety of tribes will be represented:
- Atakapas-Ishak & Akokisas Band
- Pointe-au-Chien Indian Tribe
- United Houma Nation
- Avogel Tribe of Louisiana
- Canneci N'de Band of Lipan Apache
- Louisiana Attakapas Eagle Tribe
- Isle de Jean Charles Band of Biloxi-Chitimacha-Choctaw
- Jena Band of Choctaw
- Coushatta
- Chitimacha
- Attakapas Opelousas Prairie Tribe
There will be be guided tours for the Healer's Garden at La Maison Acadienne, and La Maison Broussard.
