Gas Line Explosion Rattles Washington Parish

It was a rough time waking up for many residents in a rural area of Washington Parish near the community of Enon.

Sheriff Randy Seal says there are no reports of any injuries right now.  The blowout occurred around 5:30 this morning.

Seal says the gas line is right around the are of Lee Road and smoke is still seen coming from the site, but the fire appears to be out.

Even though there are homes near the gas line, the sheriff says they have no evacuations.
