UFC star Dustin Poirier continues to fight for his hometown through his nonprofit, The Good Fight Foundation, which is set to host its 4th Annual Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway. This annual event is dedicated to helping families in need across Lafayette and surrounding communities, ensuring that no one goes without a warm Thanksgiving meal.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, November 27th, as meal distribution begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. at Prejean's Restaurant, located at 3480 NE Evangeline Thruway in Lafayette. Meals will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis, and to ensure fairness, only one meal package per vehicle will be distributed.

Cars are expected to begin lining up early, but organizers urge attendees to follow all traffic rules and line up in an orderly manner. The goal is to make the process smooth and efficient, ensuring as many families as possible can benefit.

“This is about giving back to the community that has given me so much,” said Poirier, a Lafayette native. “This giveaway is something very close to my heart, and I’m always so humbled with The Good Fight Foundation continues to accomplish here in the city I love.”

The annual event is one of many holiday generosity in Lafayette, bringing people together to share gratitude and kindness. The Good Fight Foundation invites anyone in need, or anyone who knows someone in need, to participate and spread the word.

For more updates and information, follow @TheGoodFightFoundation on social media. Supplies are limited, so arrive early to secure a meal for your family.

Dustin Poirier and The Good Fight Foundation thank the community for their ongoing support in making this event a win for Lafayette year after year.
