Homer Simpson To Speak At Loyola
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Harry Shearer, the voice of more than 20 characters on the animated TV series "The Simpsons," will discuss his career at a Loyola University forum on April 8.
The discussion will be at 8 p.m. in the Nunemaker Auditorium in Monroe Hall. It is free and open to the public.
Shearer made his first screen appearance in "Abbott and Costello Go to Mars," the 1953 movie starring the comedy team that used Mardi Gras in New Orleans as part of its backdrop.
His discussion is part of a series on the arts and entrepreneurship offered by the university.
