UPDATE: All Lanes of I-10 West at Henderson Open

UPDATE: All lanes of I-10 westbound at Henderson are now open

ORIGINAL STORY:

Drivers heading into Acadiana from Baton Rouge on I-10 will need to take an alternate route.

I-10 West is closed at Henderson after an 18-wheeler jackknifed. According to state police, there are no reports of injuries.

Troopers tell KPEL that traffic is backed up to mile marker 117--the foot of the Basin Bridge. Troopers also tell us they are looking at a two-hour window before they can reopen the road.

If you are coming towards Lafayette from points east, use U. S. 190 or another alternate route to avoid the crash.
